TES Theatre Company
IDEAS High School works collaboratively with The Emerging Stage (TES) Theatre Company to support academics in various areas of theatre production.
TES Theatre offers two full days of programming where students participate in every aspect of the theatrical process, from performance to production. Through professional mentorship, students pitch the plays, hold auditions, design sets and costume, direct, choreograph, and handle special effects and lighting, all in a supportive and inclusive creative environment.
Through documentation students contribute to academics portfolio’s, for courses such as Theatre History, Drama, Language Arts, Music, Dance, Choreography, Musical Theatre, Creative Writing, Shakespeare, Capstone Projects, and more.
